Biog for Bleeding Hands
Andy Bleeding Hands could be defined as an Acoustic battle field tossed into a blender and turned on high.
Andy writes simple songs about complex things: love, family, heaven and hell. Addiction and real life experience. In his songs emotions connect, You sing along even though you've never heard the tune before. Andy's writing has a unique perspective of warmth, sincerity and void, either he is inside the fire looking out, or welcoming you to join him round it, inviting you in to investigate the depths of a tangled mind
Since hitting the scene a year ago, bleeding hands has continually expanded his horizons, gigging around England , and this year made a debut continental performance in Poland . Through these forgotten locales. He's been fortunate enough to play with lots of great musicians at open mic Jam sessions, at late night blues venues, and from the streets where he'd leant his trade
Ultimately, its bleeding hands live shows that generate the most enthusiasm for his music, the crowd falls low, for the song about the second son, "Jesus and Elvis", and the contagious "Hold You"
His debut CD was recorded at Hitoy Studios produced by Ben Bannister, the disc has sparked loads of good response. Since being widely distributed at Gigs and throughout the internet, demand has been high.
Bleeding hands now finds himself travelling the road that lead s from small towns to big cities. With a growing internet following, and demand for live shows, bleeding hands has been proflific on the Manchester music scene this year (see gigs section)
